Managed IT services, voice and network provider adds voice and network executive to leadership team
Dallas, TX (April 30, 2019) – Magna5, a national provider of managed IT, voice and connectivity services, today introduced Jason Cummins, a tenured voice and network engineering services executive as its new senior vice president of voice networks. Cummins brings over 20 years of voice and network experience to Magna5, leading organizations in the optimization of their voice and network infrastructures.
In his role at Magna5, Cummins will oversee the strategic direction of the integration and consolidation of the voice and data network to improve overall efficiency and quality of service to our customers. He also will lead network-related automation development activities that promise to improve Magna5’s productivity. Additionally, he will lead the efforts to enhance Magna5’s unified communications platform and product offering.

Prior to joining Magna5, Cummins served as Senior Vice President of Operations at Teliax, based in Plano, Texas. As Senior Vice President of Operations, Cummins was responsible for consolidating Unified Communications platforms to enhance the solution, a network wide conversation to Ribbon SBC’s from open source software, as well as the design and implementation of business strategies, plans and procedures in the oversight of the engineering, development, support and service delivery teams.
Cummins has also served in in operations and leadership positions at ANPI, Rio Communications, Bluestreak Connect and Access Networks. At ANPI, Cummins served as Senior Vice President of Engineering and Operation where he was responsible for transitioning ANPI from switchless wholesale company to leading network provider with a coast-to-coast network spanning 6 locations.
